We had an errand in the Milford, CT area and since it was a substantial drive for us from south central MA we made time to stop at a local Audubon shoreline sanctuary that we discovered not far from our destination.

Finding Easy Walks in the Berkshires, Connecticut

A walkway invites visitors to climb alongside the Kent Falls, but sunset approached, and we chose to avoid others on the trail. For this visit, a view of the falls was enough

Sometimes you simply have to get out of the house. A neighbor on our little dead end street told us the tree cutting crew would be arriving in the morning to spend the day removing five trees. Rather than be blocked in for the day, we packed up, and headed out for the Berkshires, extra clothes, chairs, lunch, and snacks packed.
