Finding Easy Walks Wherever You Are is a wonderful articulation of what Easy Walks are and how to find them, with many useful points to offer to those who are seeking to walk more and need a welcoming voice and guidance. Marcy Marchello, Universal Access Program Coordinator, Massachusetts State Parks

Has your world been turned upside down?

We equip elders, mobility and visually impaired persons, and others (maybe you?) to make informed choices about getting outdoors safely. You may need some help. Finding Easy Walks can make a difference. Learning that you are not alone can change how you see yourself. I understand. Here’s my story:

Nearly thirty years ago after brain surgery to save my life, I found myself in a hospital bed, my right side paralyzed. Since then I have regained my ability to walk, with support. Who knew that one day I would author multiple Easy Walks books focused on helping others, (maybe you?) get outside and find healing for your body, mind, and spirit.

Helping you find Easy Walks (not too many roots or rocks, relatively level, with something of interest along the way) is what we do.

Has your world been turned upside down by changes in health, relationships, or other life circumstances? My Liturgy of Easy Walks, is the back story of Why Easy Walks. Brief meditations on learning to live in a changed life.

Great reviews for “Easy Walks” the books, and presentations:

Marjorie Turner Hollman is the author of several Easy Walks books. Her gentle charm and attention to detail makes each of these a pleasure to read. My Liturgy of Easy Walks is a continuation of the series, but is more personal, taking the reader beyond the forest path to finding joy and peace in the everyday walks of life. A treasure. I feel more alive and connected in my own journey after having read this heartfelt book. Robert Eugene Perry, Poet and Author

Thank you so much for your Easy Walks presentation at the Walpole MA Council on Aging (COA). Walks, I expected. A book, was expected. But the fulfilling surprise was the inspiration of yourself. Thank you for nudging us to make every moment count for good and to achieve things we may not have thought possible of ourselves. Donna Sherman, avid walker

EXCELLENT program! Marjorie Turner Hollman’s Finding Easy Walks presentation was well researched and her photos and tips were fantastic.” Jennifer Shaker, Director, Willett Free Library, Saunderstown, RI
