Privacy Policy

At MarjorieTurner.com, we want you to know that we are NOT in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies for marketing or business purposes. The only time we collect information is if you sign up to follow this blog. Your email is the only information we then collect. Any other information that WordPress collects from our website is recorded anonymously, indicating country of origin only. Here’s the link to Automatic, the company behind WordPress.com. Automatic’s privacy policy We also use Mailchimp to register email addresses for those who indicated that they are interested in receiving occasional notifications from us. Again, this information is never sold, rented or traded to anyone.

As part of the registration process for our occasional e-newsletter, we collect personal information (your email address, and name, only). We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about things you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check that our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organizations or businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Marjorie@MarjorieTurner.com

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Marjorie Turner Hollman at Marjorie@Marjorieturner.com
