I met Dale through Facebook–the wonders of on-line connections–friends of friends, through my Easy Walks in Massachusetts Facebook page. We’ve met before, and “chatted” on-line many times, but we finally got a chance for another ‘in person’ walk yesterday at Foxboro State Forest, with a group led by Paul Clifford of DCR. Dale acted as “sweep,” making sure I didn’t get left too far behind. (I am not a fast walker–I’ll get there, but not fast!) Groups never walk all at one pace, but the track we walked was pretty challenging, and it felt good to have Dale nearby, making sure I stayed with the group.
Thanks Dale, for being an early supporter of my efforts, and always ready to enjoy, comment, and participate.
